Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to ask for your support for the budget of the Maryland Small Business Development Financing Authority (MSBDFA), pending legislation to enhance MSBDFA’s Surety Bond Program and pending legislation to initiate a pilot program for entrepreneurial training for Ex-Offenders.

The budget hearings for the MSBDFA budget will be held:

  • at 1:00pm  in Lowe House Office Building, Room 120 on Thursday, February 26th
  • and at 1:00pm in the Miller Senate Building, Amos Conference Room, 4th Floor on Monday, March 9th.

The hearings for MSBDFA’s Surety Bond Program (HB 844) will be held:

  • at 1:00pm in (Economic Matters Committee) Lowe House Office Building, Room 230 on Wednesday, March 4th
  • and (SB 579) at 1:00pm in the Miller Senate Building, Finance Committee Hearing Room, 3rd Floor on Tuesday, March 3rd. Download a copy of Synopsis and Legislation

The hearings for the Ex-Offender Pilot Program (HB 909) will be held:

  • at 1:00pm  in (Economic Matters Committee) Lowe House Office Building, Room 230 on Wednesday, March 4th
