Operation Hope on the Chesapeake will be hosting a weekend in Southern Maryland for our recovering combat veterans and their families. Please join us Friday, September 9th, in welcoming our honored guests as they travel down from Route 2 and 260 at approximately 6 p.m. to the Farmers Market in the Town of North Beach.
They will be escorted by the Calvert County Sheriff’s Department as they travel on Route 260 passing in front of American Legion Post 206 on Rt. 260, turning left onto Rt. 261 at Veterans Memorial Park, and ending at the Farmers Market. The Young Marines, Honor Guard, and ROTC will be present. Fire and EMS will be participating. Bring your flags and banners and show your support for these men and women who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
