Tri-County Youth Services Bureau invites all Calvert County youth and their families to a Youth Forum on Saturday, May 21st, 2016 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Harriet Elizabeth Brown Community Center, 901 Dares Beach Road, Prince Frederick. The theme of the forum is: “Our Community Supports Young People.”
The forum will focus on how adults can help children and youth develop skills and strengths to combat negative influences like tobacco use, alcohol and substance use, early pregnancy, and criminal activity. Community partner agencies will present information and host activities that help reduce high risk behaviors and strengthen youth and families’ relationships. Agencies include: the Calvert County Mentoring Partnership, Calvert County Health Department, Parks and Recreation, Broadview Church, Calvert Alliance Against Substance Abuse, and the Calvert County Alliance for Children, Youth and Families.
There will be music, games, food and entertainment. This is a rain or shine event, and there is no cost to attend.
