Lowering of the Flag: Lucinia Mundy
This is to advise that Commissioner President Reuben B. Collins, II, Esq. ordered the Charles County flag to be lowered to half-staff effective immediately and returned to full staff on the day of interment (TBD), to honor Lucinia Mundy, Small and Minority Business Development Specialist in Economic Development Department dedicating over 20 + years.
Lucinia made notable contributions to the Charles County Government’s Purchasing Division, in that role she helped to implement the Small Local Business Enterprise program’s outreach, business certification, and public relations programs. Lucinia also revitalized and managed the County’s Minority Business Enterprise program. Her experience also included roles at Prince George’s Community College and the Federal Reserve System.
