Public Informational Hearing – FY 2018 Staff Recommended Budget

Over the years, our League has encouraged county government to create more opportunities for citizen input and impact on the budget process. Our county government has created a variety of opportunities for residents to better understand and influence the Capital Improvement Plan and the annual operating budget through public meetings, website postings, and public affairs outreach. We encourage our members to mark their calendars and plan to attend. We also encourage you to share this information with your personal communities, HOAs, PTAs and workplaces. Remember the county can’t print its own money. It needs yours. It also wants to know how you think it should spend that money.
