MDOT Public Consultation Survey and Meetings

Maryland State Highway Administration

Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT)

7201 Corporate Center Drive Hanover, Maryland 21076

RSVP by April 30, 2015 10:00 AM

Pursuant to federal regulation 49 C.F.R. Part 26, the Maryland Department of Transportation (“MDOT”) is seeking comments on the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program and goals for the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA).  In establishing the DBE goal, the federal regulations require that MDOT consult with stakeholders, which include, without limitation, minority and women’s business groups, community organizations, trade associations and other officials or organizations that may have information concerning the availability of disadvantaged businesses, the effects of discrimination on opportunities for DBEs, and efforts to increase DBE participation.  As such, MDOT is providing stakeholders an opportunity to share their views by completing a survey and through participating in open stakeholder meetings.

Please note that you may complete the survey, attend one of the meetings, or both.  The surveys must be completed and submitted by May 5, 2015 and can be found at this web address https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SBEGoals. A printable version of the survey is located on the OMBE Website under the “News” Tab.  The meetings are scheduled as indicated below.  Make sure to submit your electronic RSVP on or before April 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM, using the weblinks below.
