Calvert Community Foundation Offers Grants

Prince Frederick, MD, March 5, 2014—The Calvert Community Foundation offers grants to local community organizations seeking to improve the lives of citizens in Calvert County.  Grant awards up to $2,000 will awarded to organizations that focus on one or more of the CCF’s strategic areas of interest: Cultural, Environmental, Health, Human Services, Public Safety, Recreation, and Education.
Organizations are encouraged to apply by obtaining a grant application form from the CCF Facebook page “Calvert Community Foundation” or by visiting our foundation host webpage www.creatinglegacies.org at the Foundation for Community Partnerships. The deadline for grant submission will be Friday, April 11, 2014 at 3:00 PM. Grant awards will be announced no later than April 28, 2014. For additional information please call 410-414-5997.
The Calvert Community Foundation is a component fund of the Foundation for Community Partnerships, an independent 501 (c) 3 serving the people of the Chesapeake Bay region. Its purpose is to provide a uniquely efficient and cost-effective framework for individuals, families, groups, and businesses to financially support non-profit organizations as well as their communities. Monies raised and distributed under the Calvert Community Foundation are for the sole purpose of support Calvert County children, families, and causes.
